Alan,
Nature's way indeed! You are all living in cloud cuckoo land!
Can't something be done about these party animals? After all the dawn chorus this morning reached deafening levels. Do these birds not appreciate that after a long day's skiing, I require absolute silence?

whenever i'm woken by a cuckoo, i invariably imagine its call being ceased by the report of a full 3.5" 12ga load. very soothing, at least until its next call.

Sounds like a perfect recipe . . . for killing two birds with one stone?

Sunday 26th April. Bitterly cold with intense blasts of snow.
Main Basin on auto-refresh all day.
Spring Run and Spring Paper worth the walk.
Heard a new phrase today, "Poaching the corduroy" Mmmmh, nice one Scott.

More to come, season definitely not over yet. Please come up and support the Mighty One. :-)

Was up today in the morning. Main basin was nice but I didn't enjoy the spring run much...refrozen tracks and lumps. .took a walk over and did the east ridge which was really nice. Nice walk out in the sun and blizzard.

We had a great day today. My son was exhausted, but happy after sliding on every kind of snow on every kind of terrain.

Me too!

I can confirm the cuckoo was still there at 05:00 am Monday morning. Although I think the winter weather has subdued its' chanting a bit.

Great weekend, great company, great staff, super pisting of the Main Basin. Full-on winter conditions are back. So remember to take an extra wooly and get up to support the Mighty Glencoe Ski Centre.

^Ski Patrol catching afternoon freshies in the Main Basin. Overnight saw further snow which means the Plateau Poma is running this morning.

Hello Boss,
Sorry, I am suffering from white fever. The doctor says it is highly contagious and I need to stay away from work until the weather warms up. ;-) cough cough cough

Probably last run of the season for me today, Springy to 3/4 down car park where I found an abandoned Zibob which took me to the bike track.
A quite remarkable day, foot of fresh on all runs and it seemed to snow and be sunny at the same time for most of the day! Plateau back on which was another bonus.

The BIG news on Tuesday, Plateau Poma is up and running again after the overnight snow, back to ski off the Access and onto the Poma to get up the hill! After quite a bright and Sunny start it snowed fairly steadily, with more expected to come in later tonight and tomorrow.

^Mid morning freshies on Thrombosis mid-mountain.

^Spring Run.

^Plateau Poma doing it's thing on the 28th of April.
