Glencoe vs Nevis
Date Posted: 20.35hrs on Fri 20 Mar 15
So im struggling to decide between glencoe and Nevis for tomorrow
the question is, is the freeride skiing better on the east ridge or at glencoe?
And will brave heart really run? I know it ran last week but? #cynic

im going to nevis, think the sunshine will bring a lot of punters out, think nevis can cope a bit better with larger crowds, just my personal opinion

Me too, Braveheart I believe ran today, it takes a bit to get the old bird going after summer lay up but once its running usually goes fine... don't expect it till mid morning.

Plenty snow in the backs with huge amount of entries, summit gully was the top choice last weekend, Easy gully was a bit choppy but great snow in Coire an Lochain below, Spikes was very icy on the top above the drop in and was abandoned, lots of folk dropping in all along Coire Dubh from chancer to Wingers to G @ T gully and all in between. The drop from climbers coll into Coire an Lochain was also providing good sport.

Skiing below Braveheart was also quite good for a few runs between laps.

Taker yer pick.

Yep, I had my first ever ski off Climber's Col into Coire an Lochain last Sunday and it was a beauty, with perfect sun-softened snow all the way.

Aye Ross its a good one for later in the day as the sun stays on it longer when others have turned rock solid in the shade
