“The Coe Main Basin T-Bar Rides”

Would that not make a great mini series?

Suggestions for episodes, please.

Bands of snow showers are piling in this morning, wind is easing somewhat between them they going nuts as the convective showers come through. Snow accumulating to below the top of the Access Chairlift and wind is due to moderate for Monday morning with snow showers becoming light and scattered.

So could be another decent Monday on the cards with some fresh tracks. Everything crossed!

That would make a great episode provided you could get them out from behind their keyboards.

I rarely spend much time on a keyboard these days cause of auld unoriginal fandans regurgitating internet put downs like they own them...

I would ride the t-bar with you for 20 seconds of air time - total opposites cause yer full of bore, though I doubt I could handle the 10,000 hours of filming for it. I don't know how tae use a defibrillator either..

I'll propose while on site getting a full series with with thee Jabuzzard recorded in one day that they film you going up talking shite to yerself as Dignitas might be allowed tae advertise tae the general public one day..

In all seriousness, you really should start adding "this post was sponsored by nytol and worthers originals" tae save folk thinking yer just pure boring....

Ad_Hynkel,

Main Basin, Spring run and Flypaper providing decent spring skiing on upper mountain. Mid mountain the Wall is complete and best option. Still possible to sprackle down Mugs Alley onto Old Mugs Alley and back to Plateau cafe. Plateau Poma still expected to run tomorrow with a bit of shoveling, lower slopes are now just for access and a fair bit of grass skiing now required. Rankins Return or Plateau run best options to get home at the end of the day.

A bluebird Sunday to end March at the 'Coe, but as we move into the second month of meteorological spring it will be a taste of winter on Monday as any early brightness fades, snow showers move in and then merge together into some longer spells of snow in the afternoon.

^Main Basin and Ski Tow Gully.

^Sledging just up from the Plateau Cafe.

^Sweet spring snow on Old Mugs Alley which along with the upper leg of Mugs Alley was groomed Sun AM, complete run to base of Coire Pollach Tow / Cafe.

Still a range of terrain available, Main Basin and Mugs Alley/Old Mugs Alley route to the base of the Coire Pollach Tow / Plateau Cafe groomed. Old Mugs Alley more popular through afternoon as people realised there was a complete route and it was great loose granular spring snow the whole way.

ABOUT TIME THIS THREAD WAS AT THE TOP AGAIN!
Cracking day today a few mates about to get some good runs with, Visibility appalling in the A.M. needed all me Jedi skills to start with, correction needed a few good fat ones a bacon egg roll & cup o joe to start with then me Jedi skills.
stuck to the basin of plenty most of the day a few shots of mid mountain mayhem. plenty of fresh soft white stuff about the top and few punters , ideal for us lot , maybe no so good for business tho.
think there were more Glenshee regulars than our own crew.
Clydebank, Paisley, Renfrew, where are you all?
Cleared up in the afternoon a bit.

Good day at the Coe with Paraffin, old age predator sSpiers and Alan. Heavy snow this morning turning to rain but still good skiing in main basin. Lively atmosphere in the log cabin watching the grand national and then afterwards. Looking forward to more good skiing tomorrow. smiling smiley

Its a day late, but here's my video from Thursday. Some great skiing to be had despite the conditions lower down and the morning fog.

Ohhhhhhh man, you need tae get in with some of that paisley/renfrew mob up glencoe and get them tae shoplift some mic covers or kill a cat and stick it over yer mic... If that fails get some of that posh Clydebank mob tae buy you one, their butlers are more approachable as they are usually stoned.......
