Well...glencoe made a promise with the snow factory. Let's see if they can open Coire Pollach very early on in the season.

I'll bite. November 24th at the Lecht. Using the Snow factory that others said was no use.

You can just about guarantee that under the circumstances we'll get good very early snow cover in the Top Basin at CairnGorm !!

Lecht to open this Sunday 28 October. Heavy snow forecast for Saturday and Sunday. Beginners runs will be open with a combination of Snow Factory snow and the natural stuff

Just looked at the snow forecast map, there is an orange blob over Edinburgh - could be Arthur's Seat on Friday!

fri 2nd Nov at the Lecht....ski tourers may get Ptarmigan turns earlier (but not lift served)
