Desperate post... but look like it's snowing from the goose webcams..

I'm having a hard job spotting that, but the forecast for this evening and tomorrow is a little more promising than of late

Think it was a light hail covering, a pretty active squall line came through.

Wind might prevent it so check AM, but both the World Cup downhill and Top Chief downhill tracks and gondola bike uplift supposed to open tomorrow.

Went up to the summit via the goose this morning.
The goose had some large patches but is a long way from being skiable, which is no surprise.

The summit is skiable and the up track is complete.. good depth has survived - just a case of getting there!

We had a great day at Nevis yesterday (Monday 18/3). There was a very wide snow cover and the place was almost deserted- not a hint of a queue anywhere. The day tickets were just £25.
Unfortunately the Summit and Warrens tows did not run, needless to say neither did Braveheart. The Goose, Alpha and quad chair ran all day, no problems. The snow did get a bit sticky later on, but still, a very nice relaxed day.

Did you get to have a look into the backs?

Still not been over the back this year and seriously missing it. The best lift accessed backcountry in Scotland by a mile

Sorry, I did not see the back corries. The Summit button was being repaired and I'm too lazy to walk up. A few folk were hiking up though.

Stuck in work all week anyway so it'll be a very different picture by the weekend
