Glenshee Snow 2026
Date Posted: 18.10hrs on Sat 3 Jan 26
While Glenshee has not caught as much snow as the Northern Cairngorms and very strong NW winds have scoured some areas, there are also some hefty drifts along suitably aligned fences.

Machines have been out on Claybokie, the Cairnwell RaceTracks and on Sunnyside today.

The police excelling themselves again.

Plenty time to visit Mark for protecting skiers, yet some unforeseen obstacles prevented them communicating why the access roads to Glenshee and The Lecht remain shut. No word on tomorrow, either. Heartbreaking for the resorts and surrounding businesses.

Thank goodness Scotland's business community is thriving and tax revenues are over flowing.

Oh... wait...

Will glenshee piste out what appears to be the large snowfall accumulations today before the rain and rise in temperature?

Any idea what happening with the closed uplift at glenshee? Was up last tuesday and butcharts t-bar, carn aosda and meall odhar are all unloaded, carn aosda is even derailed. still no sign of coire fionn pomas or gla maol being opened, even thought he other week they put a post up saying the coire fionn pomas would follow shortly after the caenlochan was opened. I'm not knocking them as I love the shee, but it feels like were missing out on terrain that we rarely get to these days. And surely more tows opened means more people means more revenue?

Glas Mail has a vast amount of accumulated snow sitting at the top so I'd imagine they need to find a way of clearing that without the resultant avalanche destroying the uplift sitting below. There's avalanche signs at the top of Caenlochan stopping you skiing over into Coire Fionn.
No idea about the other tows but I agree it would have saved much standing around in queues...
