The storm is tracking towards Northern England this evening and the wrap around of the fronts is giving a burst of heavy snowfall in Leadhills at the moment.

It's looking probable for cold to stay with us through first half of March. How much precipitation to go along with that? Surely worth a daydream at least.

Interesting to note that while the GFS yesterday and this morning dropped the stormy weekend into a longer fetch Westerly and a flatter pattern the latest Met Office Fax Chart for Sunday has a deepening and pretty intense looking 970mb low barrelling in during Sunday,

Should that low bring a lot of snow to the west?

Think we're looking good for the West. Hoping for a long Easter weekend if it stays cold and Coe get everything open with a load of fresh to fill it all back in. Am i being too hopeful? Had a week in morzine at half term (top tip, Don't f**king bother ever) so need some turns.

Crazy to think 1 week ago I was sitting in London at 21° in a t-shirt with a pint.

You can get it on the forum for temperatures with [ c ] less spaces to get °c. On an iPhone, press and hold 0 and the deg symbol will appear as a character.

I stared at my keyboard for a good while last night pressing all sorts too. Eventually found it on my phone earlier through the same moves...

Cheers !

Looking at the webcams today highlights who is picking up these showers. West definitely best at the moment. Just dustings for the northern areas at the moment.
