I started this thread as the OP....it was the other one who started by posting his "comments" on here...

I'm just trying to keep to facts...

I bet yer endocannabinoid system needs a boost for one, giving that a top up will help ya in more ways than you're led to believe. I puff a fair amount of high grade organic and consume high quality cheap oil, so what of it?

The comments you make say it's another thing you've not really got a clue about.. I've been advising a group made up of business suits and folk in the medical industry for a good while in all aspects of helping folk for buttons, even had tae talk about history and evolution of humans and that strange plant. You probably think hippies planted dinosaur bones but if ya ever wanna learn something gimme a shout.

That drone company got noticed by the public for their moth drone and how it works in high wind, mountain rescue are out in all weathers if you just wanna stop progress at where it's at...

So what freaking ideas you got ?

As you brought the erb up first for a pretty obvious reason I'll add we should fully legalise it and use some of the vast tax revenue tae fund public services more, the NHS will save a fortune so that cash can be spread between A&E and more outdoor pursuits, crime will drop so the police can chill out a bit more and spend time in country helping folk and beating up hillbillies that poison wildlife and just wreck the enviroment.. The problem for this sensible law would be the hillbillies, the opium lords of Scotland lobbied tae keep opium illegal as it would 'ceace to be profitable if the trade was ever legalised' .. Says a lot about the 'drug war' and what really funds a large chunk of london......

So what ideas you got for saving lives that doesnt include taxing the poor? smiling smiley

edit- hahaha, can we not just ban the right? Elon Musks mars project looks good for them !

There were some good questions about it on First Minister's questions today, nice to see it getting a high profile.

Haha, suits me as am too smashed tae argue tongue sticking out smiley

I agree with a military oot there doing it, the SAF and army should be put tae good use after we make them swear allegiance tae the people.. Y'know how hard it is tae come up with an idea without getting some halfwit tae bite, even though I ain't trying but it does needs Scotland tae do it or Corbyn tae get in and rock the boat before hes's had one of they heart attacks or they just drone his allotment, mistake it for a wedding or something.

The whole thing is london's fault, both of them and they should pay, well one of them....

SAF!? Good old puma's. The SAR aspect would make up a good 90% of the SAF...

a mate of mine suggested that post-indy we should turn the scottish army basically into international rescue, do SAR, disaster relief, all that kind of stuff all over the world. theory being that we'd then never need to fight anybody because they all might need our help one day. sounded like a good plan to me and helping people in our own backyard should be the least we can do, we are supposed to be a developed nation right?

how much MOD money is spent keeping pilots flight hours up vs contracting out SAR i wonder?

Scots Air Force

It'd be good tae find something that'll help find folk quicker too, some sorta gps or 4g all over if ya wanna be found when something happens, it'll help save some lives and costs if more people are getting out..

SAR should be a specialist public service like the emergency services or military just now, something most do for more than just a wage.. That would take in everything above and below land and sea/water, MRT and cavers get brought in and get what they need when they need it except shooters, stick them on a wage that suits but they are still civilian in terms of contracts and their only trained tae save...

Scottish Search And Rescue - SSAR , hmmm?

Wit aboot AlbA Force? Could franchise it oot tae other countries that are paying tae live a lot more than us ex dafties.. A military grade outfit along with local specialists coming and going as and when needed would be cool and folk that are intae stuff for the sake of it are good at thinking about stuff they wish they had, with access tae military spending and our varied terrain and rich hillbillies that need milked for funding we could eventually be selling ideas and equipment tae countries that want it, for a decent price unless they are twats that is..

I'd probably apply tae join something like 'yes sir' if they had a research department, Alba Force Skunkworks would be cool. The first thing I'd get nerds tae release were all weather swarming zenano bots that deliver mind, body and soul pain relief to those in need in any location fast..

I'll call it M.I.D.G.E.S - Medication in discrete guided emancipation systems..

I couldn't find a link to any news outlets or social media posts but, by just a single squadron alone 2.5million lbs of aid and supplies was hauled as part of operation ruman iirc. Including getting a Chinook Heli over there. operationally flying within days...

Too true, we probably wouldn't be able to afford a helicopter at all

Oh please... but if it were actually true, just stop a moment and ask yourself why? How could it be that the second most energy rich nation in Europe, the one with the best renewables potential, the one that lead world in many fields, one with such a strong brand and related tourism industry (something many nations can only dream off) could be in a position of not being able to afford a helicopter?

we can't afford to clean the streets....

It might be "the second most energy rich nation in Europe (utterly debatable, but plausible if you measure it per capita rather than absolute, and even then) but the place is boggin.

Just ask yourself why?

The solution tae being tiny and full of tramps is tae invade and colonise and pillage, then we can use they funds tae scrub our streets clean ready for gold plating...

Place is bogging because folk chuck rubbish away...no respect.
To suggest that Scotland couldn't afford to be independent is laughable...you guys really believe that!?.
Don't want to get into the whole indy debate but ask yourself why are westminster so keen on keeping us in the union?....if we're such burden and a nation of subsidy junkies surely they'd be glad to see the back of us.
Anyway from what I've seen the Tories have just about finished wrecking the whole country, they'll get kicked out....we'll have labour for a few years who'll try and improve things, get Into debt, then the Tories will get back in , sell everything off for a fast buck...etc......it's been the same shit for the last 30 years!.
Thankfully my son has dual nationalality so he can enjoy all that Europe has to offer......rant over!.
