How did everyone do?
Date Posted: 10.46hrs on Wed 1 May 19
It was a godawful season I know, but will we be able to see the breakdown in visitors per centre like someone posted last year? I'm not sure if we'll be able to see the effect of the funicular given how bad it was but I'd be curious to see it anyway.

The full breakdown isn’t public yet, but the Lecht is top of the pile by some distance. CairnGorm is bottom with an all time historic worst skier day and market share, even compared to when there was just one chairlift.
Before I post the number, I’ll point out that historically in comparable poor snow seasons CairnGorm would achieve over 50% market share.
For 2018/19 CairnGorm had 4515 skier days, which rounds out to an 8% market share. Glencoe had 9030, the total for all 5 is 54,481 - a fraction above 16/17, but had everything else been equal it probably should have been above a 70k season with at least another 20k on CairnGorm.

The Lecht's investment in the Snowfactory and concentration on beginners clearly proved worthwhile
