As posted in the Funicular thread, the CairnGorm Funicular will remain out of service at least into November. To quote the pop up banner message on the CairnGorm Website:
PLEASE NOTE THE CAIRNGORM MOUNTAIN RAILWAY IS TEMPORARILY OUT OF SERVICE. WINTER SEASON PASSES WILL BE LAUNCHED ONCE WE HAVE A RE-OPENING DATE. WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
So at this time not only are CairnGorm season passes not available to buy, details are not available either regards price / categories, nor uplift availability for the season. Meanwhile the clock is ticking on other season pass options.
Further, it is confirmed that CML are not participating in any of the Ski Scotland agreements, including the former All Area Pass.
A Ski Scotland 4 Area Pass (4AP) is available and on sale excluding CairnGorm.

CairnGorm has also withdrawn from the inter area season pass agreement which previously gave a 30% off full rack rate day ticket price to season pass holders from other areas.
The 30% off day tickets for other area pass holders will be available between Glenshee, Glencoe, Nevis Range and the Lecht. CairnGorm pass holders will not get a discount at the other 4 areas and pass holders from the other 4 areas will not get a discount at CairnGorm.
Has the 30% agreement being honoured it would have given some comfort to potential CairnGorm pass holders should the Funicular open and have to close again during the ski season, thus potentially curtailing the season due to lack of low level snowfall. Without even that 30% off other day tickets, a CairnGorm season pass, if they do go on sale looks an even more risky bet than usual.
Despite planning applications being put in and approved, CML have had 5 years to move the snow factory to more suitable location that would enable a much greater portion of the Carpark T-bar uptrack to be guaranteed, but they have failed to do so.
