Never been and have no interest in visiting Dubai but if I ever did I would probably go and have a look at the ski slope as it would be the only place to find a decent temperature so I didnt frazzle. Far too hot for my liking.
Dubai wasn't somewhere I would return to either
I had to go there for a 3 week training course in 2007,
and since we were living only 400m from the mall+snow dome I had to have a go at skiing and boarding there!
Never been and its not in my top 100 places to visit either but if I ever found myself there i'd probably go and have a look at the slope out of curiosity (and to cool down!)
You haven't lived until you've been stuck in an aircraft at Dubai airport with the aircon off for over an hour at the height of summer. I only wish they had given us free tickets to the ski slope to cool off.
