I fell out of love Dave with my 4 before christmas. It was out of warranty, just, and the home button was intermittant, IOS 6 had killed it and I had a go with a Nokia Windows Phone. I like it to be honest. I had a Android phone but that was too much, so until my contract is up for renewal, I have a Nokia Lumia 610. It reads texts out while driving and it can reply for you if you instruct it. Nokia maps are good and it makes calls too.
I am going to try and stay with the same phone as my wife, lot easier to explain to her how to do things. Having said that there is an Inovation Lab at work, so will drop by them to see what they think is the "best.
The Iphone/ipad is easy to use i know a 2.5 year old is quite capable of picking up a iphone or ipad and making facetime calls. To the person he wants to speak to, only has to see a passcode entered once to rember it.
