Aye, I'm having problems with BC web entry too. Not uncommon, unfortunately, in my past experience; their website seems a place of mystery to both my home PC and the one at work..

We've got 160 riders so far. No bad for the 1st day of entries, particularly with the very annoying website issues. I think I'll be using different entry system if I run this or anything else again.

Alan, I get involved in organising a few running events myself and would be distinctly unimpressed if I were to receive the poor level of service that BC provides. There are definitely better options!
Anyway, I'll persevere. I've sent you a PM about the promo code.

Thought I'd poke this thread. - Much cycling being done to get ready for June.?

It's been hard enough to get a nice day to ski, never mind a good bike run too... although I've seen some touring reports that combined the two.

Certainly not enough to make the hills seem any easier.

Need to step up my training and reduce the skiing days.

I am so looking foward to all those hours of suffering up the climbs.
Depending on how you count or measure these things, there are either 7 or 8 significant climbs to enjoy. Maybe I should just go skiing instead...

I'm currently slated to park at Pitlochry, ride around and take the bus back south from Aviemore. However, a bit of me is thinking of stashing a bag there in advance, overnighting at Avie and then having a relaxed recovery ride back to Pitlochry the following day, just to complete the circle.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one struggling to get the bike miles in over winter. Skiing is too tempting.

Did 3hrs run in Fife at weekend, around Cleish & Knockhill. In THAT WIND. Legs a bit second hand today, so I need to do a bit more of that, since my run contained only ONE THIRD of the ascent of the 3-Piste route.

Looking at the route, I reckon it's the middle miles that're the big grind. Crathie to Lecht is the lumpiest section, with nastiest bits. Legs will be weary by time the Gorm looms. But at least it is a steady rise.

I've found a tyre that looks like it's a good one for the event. If you're using a standard road bike.

Been thinking the same.
The toughest will be Gairnshiel bridge up to the Lecht.
and then the short steep just the other side of Tomintoul.
Once at Aviemore im hoping the adrenalin of been nearly there will carry me through.
