1)Dream about Winter

2)Repair/Replace/Clean all my winter kit

3)Just about anything that gets me out into the hills (mtb, climb, hillwalk, and the odd sea kayak trip)

4)Visit Winterhighland...
:p

a) Stomp about the hills adding rocks to cairns
b) Wash my ski socks
c) Buy snowballs from disillusioned
d) Look for silly ski hats in the sales
e) Avoid midges, wasps and people towing caravans
f) Eat salads
g) Forget about winter

If global warming is going to get that bad the only skiing you will get a Glenshee will be waterskiing, but then I remember doing a fair bit of that during the winter as well!!!

mtb, walking, sailing, and try and work out how to get original smiley faces in forum posts for next winter :~)

Hope I'm not barging in here... just found this place!

Take the family to france as pennance for leaving them out of winter ski-trips, stare at my ski's, occasionally collect bruises on the dry-slopes.......

although....

If I can get it past the wife, there's some reasonable summer skiing at Stryn in Norway..........

My summer mainly consists of:

A) Sighing as I take my mouintain bike out of the cupboard and realise that's it's the snowboard at the back and not the other way about.

cool smiley Moaning about the heat (and moaning about the lack of heat!)

C) Constant dreams about big dumps of snow

D) Reading the "ramping" threads that start in August!

I remember a vans advert in a summer edition of one of the snowboard mags that had a kid with his head in his hands and in front of him was his upturned ice-cream melting on the tarmac the headline of the ad was "Summer Sucks".
