Have ANY season pass holders received ANY communication from CML/NR?
I haven't, and I am receiving no replies to my emails either.

Funicular being out of action is bad luck.
However lack of reply over several weeks is appalling and disrespectful.

FWIW : already in breach of term 5 on their own terms and conditions winking smiley

5. The pass will be honored from the 1st November 2018 – 31st October 2019 which means that pass holders will be able to use their pass on the Funicular Railway outwith the snowsports operation.

'But strong winds and cold temperatures have hampered work to excavate some of the railway's foundations.'

Cold temperatures, at a ski area, in November. What a surprise.

Well lets hope CML do a better job than last year at actually getting the snow factory to run.

On this forum....Right way back when NAIL got the operating contract for CGML from HIE...I stated that NAIL is a typical USA type asset stripping company & that they would strip CGML for as much money as they could & then declare bankrupt...So I was proven right today.

Over the years the company accounts for CGML clearly show NAIL charging CGML for loads of "services"...over various & spurious types/headings...running into £millions...the accounts also clearly show that with in the first year of operations that NAIL lost £240K (Circa) from the CGML pension fund...& it went from plus (black) & into minus (red)

..I Just feel sorry for all the people who CGML own money to & those workers whose pension fund MAY be stripped bare/vanished...or taken by the receivers to pay debts...UNLESS it is well protected...

good luck "JollyDee"...or is it David Gorton?.....or one of his sycophants?...

The way this has been handled is shocking. We also bought season passes for the family (2 adults, 5 and 7 year old kids). They didn't answer calls or emails about pass refunds when the news broke about the uplift issues. Then today I called again, they answered and said they were unable to offer a refund because they're in administration and gave the address of the administrators to make a claim. I'm raging.

I put a dispute claim in with the credit card provider and hope they'll be able sort the refund. According to the legislation if the service that was paid for is no longer available then a claim can be made. Sadly we'll be in the queue with any other creditors, meanwhile they're blowing £1m on fake snow for the bottom of the mountain!

Semi official channels say initial report on Funicular delayed further by weather conditions on the mountain over recent weeks and looking like it will be into January before there is any further developments / news.
